1. TEXAS DRIVER'S LICENCE

We only rent to residents of the Greater Houston area. New to the area? Call to discuss your rental needs. (Text or email photo as instructed)

2. PROOF OF INSURANCE

Current insurance identifying the approved driver and the vehicle used to tow the rented trailer is required. The renter is responsible for all damages and should check coverage options. (Text or email photo as instructed)

3. EQUIPMENT SURETY DEPOSIT

EQUIPMENT SURETY DEPOSIT OPTIONS INCLUDE:

BEST OPTION:

A. Credit Card on file. (Stored in Square, inc. system) We will provide more information if this option is selected. (Requires no up-front charge to your CC)

OTHER OPTIONS:

B. Electronic Payment through your bank via Zelle. (Free)

C. Electronic Payment through the CashApp application. (Free)

D. Electronic Payment through PayPal. (Fee of 5% will be added)

E. Cash is a last option and may delay or extend the return process.

The equipment surety deposit is returned following a post-trip inspection without damages to the equipment, trailer, tires and no missing equipment.

4. E-MAIL ADDRESS

Our mobile friendly rental agreements are system generated and a link is e-mailed to you to read and electronically sign in the system. You will have access to an electronic copy anytime or you can download a PDF.

5. RENTAL FEE PAYMENT

Rental fees plus tax are due at or before the time of delivery. We send an electronic invoice you can pay at your convenience.

Where do I get the trailer?

All rental and returns are by appointment only.

With that in mind we have a pickup and return location at 1616 County Rd 129. (FM2351 on the west side of Friendswood.) This location offers self-pickup and drop-off following your first rental.

Our second location on Highway 6 in Alvin remains by appointment only and does not provide a self-service option.

For a fee Third Coast Trailer Rental offers a convenient delivery service to the following areas: Friendswood, Pearland, Alvin, League City, Kemah, Seabrook, La Porte, Pasadena and Clear Lake. Not in this area? Call and ask

Does the trailer come with a winch?

Yes. Every car hauler rental unit at 3CTR includes a 12,000 lbs. or stronger electric winch with remote to assist with loading. With 3CTR... "It's Included"

Can I reserve a trailer for a later date?

Reservations are not only available but are recommended. A reservation payment is required when booking. This payment is applied to the rental fee when initiating the rental agreement at delivery. This is not a deposit and removes the option for others to rent your reserved trailer. We do not overbook or refund this payment.

Do I pay when I return the trailer?

Rental fees are due at the time of delivery. No refunds for early returns are offered. An option to extend the rental period is based upon availability.
